Description
Windows Terminal Services Client for diskless computer network boot. WTware package includes all the software needed to create a terminal: OS, multiple drivers, network services and terminal services client.
Any PC from 486 8Mb RAM to modern can be used as a terminal. Based on the Linux kernel, it's more reliable than other solutions.
Fast, easy to setup and configure, intended for Windows system administrators. A working model with network boot can be made in 10 minutes with the step by step manual.
High graphic performance due to improved visualization algorithms. Built-in support for common hardware.
All configuration is stored in a single well-documented text file. No additional servers are required for a diskless WTware terminal network boot.
All required services are included in the Windows Server distribution. Network boot, avoiding local hard drive usage.
Three graphics libraries are used: SVGALib, Linux Kernel Framebuffer and XFree86 X Window System. Various screen resolutions are supported, color depth up to 24 bit.
Supported hardware: Common video, network and sound cards. USB and parallel (LPT) printers.
DIN, USB, PS/2 keyboards and bar-code scanners. COM, USB and PS/2 mouses and wheel-mouses.
Floppy drives and IDE ATAPI CD-ROM drives. Majority of USB memory storage (flash-cards, flash-card-readers, etc.)
