Description
<p>
Virtual DJ is software designed for you to use you computer like a Karaoke machine. Virtual DJ adapts itself to
the user and can be changed to fit your needs and moods. Many big named superstars are using virtual DJ. It
has cutting-edge technologies that draw even the roughest bedroom DJ to try it out.
</p>
<p>
Pros<br /><br />
There are some serious Pros to this software focusing around its many features, one feature is the advanced
beat locking, then you have the automatic seamless loops, synchronized sampler, fly remixing, music and
video scratching, and time code vinyl control. Along with visual beat display, DRM, VST and free frame effects,
as well as Internet Broadcasting and of course karaoke fun.
</p>
<p>
The software also provides clear superimposed view of music beats, samplers of live remixes, and anti-skip
technology. Over 4 million users have downloaded the 20-day free trial. It runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT,
2000, XP and the New Vista. The file size is a surprising 18.97 MB; with all that the program does you would
expect it to be higher. Version 4.2 has specific updates, which not only repair reported bugs but have
enhancements to it as well. You will notice that the price range for the Virtual DJ ranges anywhere from
$49.99 to $299.00 depending on where you purchase it from and which version you are looking for. The
Virtual DJ offers you something that many of the competition cannot such as the ability to go farther than just
two players and instead gives you an entire studio. The on-board mixer offers you everything a mixer should
with volume fading, mute control and cross fading.
</p>
<p>
The Video DJ is capable of using MP3, WAV, and other music files. You can use multiple sound card and audio
devices as well. It also has excellent customer support even down to getting your karaoke gig lined up.
<p>
</p>
Cons<br /><br />
Well I know you are wondering what possible cons, can a program as cool as this one have? I have to say my
biggest con is the Price, and the fact you can only use it for 20-days and during that time its not even fully
functional. Yeah most of the features that will decide if you are willing to buy it will be there but for the price I
think all of the features should be available. As such I have to rate this really fabulous product 7 out of 10, for
the amount of time allowed to try it before you buy it.
