Description
Don\'t pay $2 or $3 per ringtone any more. This neat little application (for MacOS or Windows XP) allows you to take any track off of a CD, select your favorite part, and send it to a phone as a ringtone.
You can also open any MP3 file, or use iTunes playlists to convert your iTunes music into ringtones. You need to have a phone that can handle MP3 ringtones, or any of the other \"real-music\" ringtone formats: AAC (mp4), MMF, or Purevoice (qcp), or even Wave ringtones (wav).
The software is not tied to any particular carrier. It works with all major US carriers (such as Sprint PCS or Cingular), but it also might work with other carriers.
The software is free so if you\'re not sure what your phone or your carrier is capable of, just download it and try it. MP3 (Cingular\'s Motorola phones) and MP4 ringtones (Sprint\'s MM phones) sound really great!
Take it a spin and see for yourself.
