Description

PowerFolder is a free tool to synchronize files over the internet or local network. It can be used to exchange every type of data, for example - documents, photos, music, videos or project files.

PowerFolder can automatically detect and synchronize the changes. It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.

PowerFolder uses peer-to-peer technology to exchange the files. This means you do not need a server to host the files.

Every client holds a local copy of the folder. PowerFolder as File sharing - The main difference between PowerFolder and other File sharing programs is that files get automatically downloaded when someone adds a new file.

People with same interests group together in folders, if anybody has new stuff it is automatically sent to all folder members. Requirements - Java 1.5 (free download), 64 Megabytes memory.
