NConstruct is a programming tool intended for fast development of business applications based on Microsoft .NET platform. It analyses relational database and enables developer to obtain source code and executables for application server and Windows and/or Web clients in extremely short time – usually in a couple of minutes.
Thus obtained application is fully operational and can be used as prototype, for immediate deployment or it can be easily upgraded with specific functionalities. NConstruct is a typical rapid application development (RAD) tool & environment.
Generated application automatically integrates certain administrative modules, such as authentication, permissions management, object locking management, automated logging, etc., as well as automatic graphical user interface for all data objects obtained from underlying database. All that is left for developers is to develop specific business logic of an application, parts of specific special purpose graphical user interface and other special requirements of the customer.
NConstruct system also offers multilingual support, which is implemented on the client side. Source code is entirely generated in C# and ASP.NET programming languages (for .NET Framework 2.0) and can be arbitrary modified by developers.
It is based on most modern concepts of object-oriented programming and information systems architecture (MDA, design patterns, NHibernate O/R mapping, AJAX…). This makes final product professional, not only by its appearance, but also by its architecture.
