Mobile File Manager lets you manage files quickly and easily from a BlackBerry and lets you get important tasks done from anywhere, while reducing costs. Mobile File Manager lets you use your BlackBerry device to securely access and manage files and folders on your remote file servers.
Mobile File Manager allows you to browse, move, copy, rename and delete file folders; browse windows networks and connect to Sharepoint servers; view, create and edit text files like web pages or log and configuration files; view and email graphic files; edit file and folder permissions. Mobile File Manager supports Windows File Sharing (including the ability to browse your Windows network, WebDAV, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and Secure FTP (SFTP).
SFTP uses Secure Shell (SSH) encryption, WebDAV uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to keep data safe. Mobile File Manager uses JSR75 to manage local files and folders.
All files and folder transfers go through the BlackBerry device to leverage the best-in-class security of the MDS Service.The minimum system requirements are a wireless data plan, 32MB of memory, BlackBerry system software V4.0.2 for remote and local file and folder access or v4.2 or higher for remote and local file and folder access.
