Description

Flash Disk Alert acts as a warning signal when flash USB disks are still connected to your PC when you log off, restart or shutdown. Removable devices, such as USB flash disks, are currently so common that people tend to take them for granted.

However, if you have ever left your flash drive plugged into your PC when it is really needed elsewhere to upload some important information, then you will appreciate the advantages of Flash Disk Alert. The program monitors the presence of flash disks connected to your computer.

If the computer is shutdown, rebooted or logged off, a pop-up message informs you of any connected flash disks and advises you to remove them. This utility works the same way with any removable devices mounted as virtual folders on your hard drive in Windows XP or higher.

This handy utility can be set up to offer flash disk reminders only for restart\shutdown operations, or alternatively just on log off. In addition, you can choose between two types of alert signal that activates when new flash disks are detected.

The two options are a sound alarm or a loud PC speaker beep. The latter option is useful if you use headphones instead of speakers, as it is likely you?ll have removed your headphones just prior to PC shutdown.

Using the PC beep option, the alert will be heard whatever the situation! This tiny utility will also come in handy for a PC shared by multiple users, such as in public libraries and internet cafés.

Your company image will benefit by using Flash Disk Alert, as your care and attention to computer users will be recognised. With Flash Disk Alert you will always keep any removable flash devices in your possession.

Your computer will no longer let your forget them!
