EXIF Purge

When you take a photo with your digital camera, the camera will store the current date and time into the image file along with a lot of technical information including camera make, model and the camera settings. A GPS enabled camera can also save location co-ordinates (latitude and longitude) with the photographs.

This metadata is called EXIF data.
