DNS Thing is a free utility that provides Windows users with a way to make common DNS queries using a graphical user interface. It can provide frequently queried information like looking up the IP address for a hostname or determining the MX record for a domain.
DNS Thing uses the Nslookup utility as an underlying technology to perform the actual DNS queries. However, by providing a graphical front-end, it vastly improves its usability and makes accessing more advanced results such as Sender Policy Framework anti-spam data and time-to-live (TTL) information for queries practical.
