Description
The Development Cleaning Suite (DCS) is comprised of several utilities designed to complement the Windows Disk Cleanup Manager. It includes a COM DLL 'Disk Cleanup Handler', Disk Cleanup Utility and a Disk Cleanup Configuration tool.
The tools provide greater flexibility over the standard tools provided by Windows. You can: * Select fixed drives for scanning and cleaning.
* Selectively disable fixed drives from selection. * Select a specific path or network location to scan from.
* Allow DevClean (the DCS Cleanup Handler) to scan of other registered Disk Cleanup Handlers, thereby saving time. * Show real-time progress of total space tagged for cleaning during the initial scan.
* Consistent reporting of files to be processed. See Notes 1 and 2 below.
* Ability to re-scan another location without having to launch the application again.
