BBS IM, "Bulletin Board System Instant Messaging", is primarily used for two purposes; (1) Supply the program to all community members so that they may be instantly notified when posts are made in the community; (2) Supply the program to your Administrators or Mods so they may be informed of all activity in the community the instant that it happens.
BBS IM comes with a client that installs on users Windows 2000/Windows XP computers, and server scripts that are uploaded to your server. The installed clients communicate with your server in real time through XML and the server software operates with PHP 4.xx
